Founded in 2017 by Catarina and Rui, Herbar brings ancient healing to modern self-care with a range of adaptogenic skincare products. Catarina is a former athlete and Wellness Consultant for brands such as Adidas and Lululemon. Rui is currently finishing her PhD on Plant Nutrition after completing a degree in organic agriculture, food system master and nutrition bachelor with an oncology focus. Herbar is committed to providing you with high-quality, sustainably sourced skincare products. Their commitment to sustainability is reflected in their limited quantities to ensure that they don't contribute to leftover inventory and waste. Also their packaging is designed to be earth-conscious, using more recyclable materials and refillable packs to make sustainability simple for you. Herbar is committed to making a positive impact on the world. They forward 1% of their Face Oil sales to Educating Girls of Rural China, a non-profit organization that provides young women in rural Western China with access to high school and university education. Additionally, they donate 1% of each Face Oil sale to Foundation Fungi, an organization that works for the fungi, their habitats, and the people who depend on them.
